Improving the quality of samples and data for research
The importance of high quality samples and data for research is well known. Researchers, however, continue to cite lack of access to high quality, well annotated samples as a major hindrance to their work. The biobank standard consists of "requirements" and "best practices" for the management of quality in a biobank.
